Step By Step

How to load and prime your pen

Nine simple steps take your injector pen from cap-on to ready-to-dose. Always defer to your peptide and pen manufacturer's instructions.

Nine-step guide to loading and priming the injector pen: prepare and remove the cap, detach the cartridge holder counterclockwise, reset the screw rod, insert the peptide cartridge, reattach the holder clockwise, twist on a new pen tip, turn the rear dial to select units, tap bubbles to the top with the tip pointed up, and complete the manufacturer priming and flow-check before use.
  1. Step 1: Prepare. Wash your hands, then remove the pen cap.
  2. Step 2: Detach the holder. Turn the cartridge holder counterclockwise to remove it.
  3. Step 3: Reset the rod. Push the screw rod back into the pen body.
  4. Step 4: Insert the cartridge. Check for damage, then insert the peptide cartridge into the holder.
  5. Step 5: Reattach the holder. Turn the holder clockwise to secure it to the pen body.
  6. Step 6: Attach a new pen tip. Twist on a new pen tip until secure. Sold separately.
  7. Step 7: Adjust the dial. Turn the rear dial to select your units.
  8. Step 8: Bring bubbles to the top. Point the tip upward and gently tap the cartridge holder.
  9. Step 9: Check before use. Follow the pen manufacturer's priming and flow-check instructions.
